Finally tried the tacos at Gueros, in the old Oaxaca space, and enjoyed them thoroughly, particularly the fried avocado and jalepeno. They're open 4-11 (12-11 on the weekends), serve beers and margaritas, and deliver for free over $10. Also, the space looks approximately a million times better - softer light, better seating, and a nice paint job.

Agreed! So much better than Oaxaca. I really like their habanero hot sauce.

Really tasty food. Tried the roasted vegetables, grilled chicken and fried avocado/jalapeno, all were really yummy! Nice addition to the area.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Been twice since they opened. I've had the avocado/jalapeno, fried chicken and hanger steak tacos, as well as chips and guac. the hanger was the worst of the group, but everything was pretty great. Good on these folks, they're doing well.
ReplyDeleteOnly been once since they opened. I had the same as 4:31 and I agree with their comment. The hanger steak was my least favorite - the flavor is there but their steak needs more tenderizing (either chemical [citrus] or physical [mallet]). We'll be back soon.
