Nice to be reminded of the fun to be had at the parade, even as we're reeling from the accompanying violence. It's shameful that a small group of folks had to ruin what the rest of the 3.5 million parade goers enjoyed so much.

I had a wonderful time as always and didn't hear about the violence until late. I agree with Mike and trini - it's just a few bad apples and we can't lock ourselves inside hiding from life. I had a great time at the parade, as usual. Unfortunately, my evening ended with over a hundred cops at my doorstep. Things need to be fixed not cancelled.- Liz
