Field-to-Fork Festival from Seeds in the Middle

Seeds in the Middle, whose work I mentioned here a few weeks back (and who's farmer's market was the subject of a nice piece by NY1), has a great event coming up this Saturday at Borough Hall. Click on the flyer or read on below for more info about Tastes of Brooklyn:

Our city's finest chefs partner with farmers and local vineyards next
to the Greenmarket for an extraordinary outdoor culinary festival. Try
exquisite delicacies using locally grown seasonal delights on the
plaza outside Brooklyn's Borough Hall. Top chefs and artisans will
offer sumptuous fare, paired with premium wines - all to empower our
neediest children to get healthy. The mighty FDNY and DSNY harbor
their own culinary masters in uniform. They will cook off against the
pros. Sample delicious cuisine without stressing over a reservation -
while supporting a worthy cause.

All proceeds benefit Seeds in the Middle, a non profit organization
located in the heart of Brooklyn that aims to inspire social change
through sustainable health. Seeds in the Middle inspires parents,
educators, students, and their community to access all the
opportunities and beauty New York City has to offer, beginning with
taking control of their health, enhancing arts education, and greening
their environment.
