CHCA Meeting Tonight (and Garden Removal Today)

CHCA logo

The Crow Hill Community Association holds their monthly meeting tonight at 7:30pm in the Gospel Tabernacle Church at 725 Franklin Avenue. They also received word that they must have their community garden - right across the street from where the meeting is being held - all packed up by the close of business tomorrow. If you're around earlier in the day, please come by and lend a hand, as they could really use the help.

  1. so sad to hear about the garden! What is happening there? I keep hoping that it will be open to the public!

  2. It appears as if at least eight members of the public will have the opportunity to live in the 8 apartments that will be constructed at the site.

  4. Now that this garden is gone does anyone know where the next nearest one is?

  5. Builders usually decide whether it should be rentals or condos based on market conditions at the time of completion, so "time will tell".

    Chuck-
There is a nearby garden located near the Bedford Ave. It is either one Dean or Prospect PL (I can't remember at the momemnt).

  6. Nearby gardens include the Walt L. Shamel/Dean North Community Garden on Dean between Franklin and Bedford (which Art Not Arrests has relocated to - look for a post on that tomorrow) and the Roger That Garden on Rogers and Park.

  7. Hi! I was pleased as soon as I opened up this page of your domain. What was the leading aim at that moment when you to create this site?
