As part of Bike NYC's Bike to Work Day, a "bike train" will be leaving from Little Zelda tomorrow (Friday) morning at 8:45am. The train is sponsored by the Hudson Square BID in Manhattan, where the excursion will finish at 9:30. For those unfamiliar with the "bike train" concept (as this blogger was until a day ago), the organizers describe it as follows:
"A bike train, if you have not heard of it, is simply a group ride, which is designed to make cycling more fun, social and safe. New cyclists can get to feel more comfortable and learn skills from experienced bike commuters, and everyone gets to know their neighbors who cycle and have a nice ride into work."
ILFA will be saving our legs for Saturday morning's Brooklyn Half-Marathon, but happy riding to all those who participate.
