Community Events II: Block Association Meeting, Farmers Market, Shooting Response

In addition to the three events mentioned in the post and comments below (today's Peace Games at Brower Park from SOS Crown Heights, the CHCA clean-up day on Saturday, and the Paint A Brick Project for kids at MaMa Dee's Garden), here are some more local happenings:

- The Dean Street Grant Square Block Association holds a meeting today with a special guest who will be speaking about rodent control and public health. They'll be meeting in the Walt L. Shamel Community Garden on Dean between Franklin and Bedford at 4:30pm (see flyer picture above for complete details).

- Seeds in the Middle hosts their Farmers Market at Hamilton-Metz field today from 1-7pm, and they plan to launch their Brower Park market in July. They're also seeking teenage soccer players for July games.

- Along with today's Peace Games, SOS will hold a shooting response tomorrow following a fatal shooting in Crown Heights on Tuesday night. Complete information is on the flyer below:

  1. Nick, any idea what was happening on Park Place yesterday? I can't find a report about it anywhere.

  2. A homicide. Fatal stabbing.

  4. Expert exterminator is required for controlling rodent infestation. Expertise comes to any man by experience. So, experience and good technique have no alternative for removing those devils. It is very hard to control rodents. But, proper technique make the job quite easier. We have to know how to get rid of rodents in the house
